    COMMUNITY WORKSHOP

JOIN THE DISCUSSION! THE CITY ENCOURAGES ALL INTERESTED PARTIES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE WORKSHOP AND PROVIDE PUBLIC COMMENT.

The City of Arroyo Grande has begun a three-year process to update the General Plan. The General Plan is the City’s long-term “blueprint” for future growth and development. The General Plan represents the community’s vision of its future and expresses the community development goals over the next 20-30 years. Community input is essential in developing a Plan that is responsive to local needs.

As part of this process, the City invites all interested residents to participate in the first General Plan update community workshop on Thursday, October 5th starting at 6:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers at 215 E. Branch Street in Arroyo Grande. The focus of the workshop is to identify the opportunities and challenges that the City should address as part of the General Plan update. This is the first of many workshops for the General Plan update.
